Scientific basis
Mandelic Acid (derived from bitter almonds): Due to its special molecular structure,
Mandelic Acid can be considered as AHA and BHA. Mandelic is soluble in both oil and water. Moreover, it has a powerful antibacterial ability.
Many studies are showing that Salicylic is suitable for hidden acne but less effective for inflammatory acne. On the contrary, Mandelic brings better results for inflammatory acne rather than hidden acne.
BHA Clarifying, with a formula containing both Salicylic Acid and Mandelic Acid exfoliating the skin, effectively supports acne treatment for hidden acne skin, sensitive acne skin, and inflammatory acne.
